I hear it all the time, “I just can’t stop thinking about…” and typically what follows is not pleasant. Our brains are designed to think, plan, and observe to help us survive, but in our modern society, we are constantly weighed down by a never-ending stream of input. This stream of information, news, and opinions, overwhelms our system, leading us to over-worrying, over-thinking, and under-living.

At Renewed Perspectives Therapy, my framework for helping others is based on the idea that as humans, we are all whole, but our perspective of ourselves, others, and the world has become skewed along the way. Thus, we are not seeing or accepting ourselves fully, causing struggles with anxiety, fears, depression, low self-esteem, and neurodivergence.

I use a variety of techniques in my practice including mindfulness training, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy to help with your daily struggles, as well as, help you get to a place of deeper acceptance and understanding of your past and yourself.
